Raised working in his father’s greenhouse, Ryan was excited to start a greenhouse operation of his own. Working closely with his father and uncle to get started, Ryan has been very successful in growing Long English cucumbers and mini cucumbers. He enjoys the lifestyle of a grower and the opportunity to work with family. “The challenges make it interesting,” he says.
Ryan is optimistic about where the technology and innovation is taking the industry and he continues to integrate technology and traditional techniques to create the freshest produce possible. His greenhouse is growing every year, and Ryan aspires to start growing tomatoes and peppers.
Ryan loves being a part of the RedHat Co-operative and feels that it brings individual growers the selling power that they need to be successful in the business.
