Franz comes from a woodworking background and used to be a cabinet maker in Mexico. When he got married and moved to Canada he decided to try greenhouse growing and now has 46,000 square feet of Long English Cucumbers. Being a grower allows him to spend time with his family and still enjoy woodworking on the side. He likes that after picking he knows he has done his job well and that RedHat will get his product to customers as fresh as possible.
Franz’s children are still young, but they love spending time in the greenhouse with their Dad. He hopes one day they will want to work for him and be able to enjoy the same family oriented lifestyle that he does!
